Cannot speak more highly of Weardale Ear Care! Alison saw me very quickly when I suddenly went totally deaf because of ear wax. She used a camera to show me the inside of my ear to help me understand what was happening, and came up with a plan to get the ears clear which worked like a charm. At a time when I was really worried about what was going on with my hearing, I saw two GPs at the same time - it was only Alison who was empathetic, caring, and took the time to show me what was happening as well as helping to cure it. We had the pleasure of Alison’s services today at home. Husband is a farmer and doesn’t like parting with his cash but he was almost deaf in both ears when Alison came to the rescue. Thank goodness because I couldn’t hear myself think above the noise of the TV!! She took less than 30 minutes to check his ears and then clean them out. He says it’s the best 50 quid he’s ever spent!!! And now he can even hear me swearing at him under my breath!!
Seriously though, Alison provides a professional, personal and efficient service and we are very grateful. She really knows her stuff. Well recommended.

After my husband Kevin has been suffering constantly for years with build up of ear wax and having experienced many painful procedures in the past to have the wax removed.
It was a real blessing that through a recommendation he managed to book a home visit from Alison.
She put him totally at ease, the removal of the wax was gently removed and my hearing was instantly back to normal and the tinnitus had gone. And all done in the comfort of my own home.

I contacted Alison on family recommendation as I had been having problems hearing for 6-8 weeks. Alison did more for me in 30 minutes than all the recent GP/hospital appointments. This lady is very professional and I came out feeling so thankful that I could actually hear again. Hubby visited Alison today, after suffering a nasty ear infection. Alison was professional and very knowledgeable having 40 years in the NHS sector. She advised hubby step by step the pain free procedure and he is very happy with the results. 100% recommend and home visits are a bonus when you have an elderly mum. After struggling to hear for the last weeks and it getting worse I visited my local pharmacist and he advised he could not see my ear drum due to having a badly blocked ear with wax. I contacted Alison on Friday 2/5, she kindly agreed to see me on Bank Holiday Monday (5/5) knowing I was going on holiday the following day. I cannot express enough the super friendly service I received from initially making contact to having advice provided for over the weekend until she came to see me at my home to clear the blockage. Would highly recommend her service (even seeing the before and after images which was a bit weird but interesting at the same time :).
